Early Intervention Support Services (EISS)

EISS is co-located with other acute care programs in an easily accessible care continuum. Unlike emergency rooms, EISS is commonly utilized to achieve faster, more efficient care in a non-stimulating environment.

Service Objectives:

• Ensure consumers who are in crisis have access to appropriate psychiatric care 24/7. 
• Assessments, including an assessment of the need for psychotropic medication, will be performed by a clinician and an APN upon admission to the program.
• Provide interventions and a range of services and linkages immediately, with referral to long-term treatment and support.
• Provide care in a warm and welcoming living room model to connect individuals with holistic, calming, and stigma-free treatment

Who is Eligible?

Individuals 18 and older who are experiencing an emotional, behavioral, situational, or psychiatric event.
