Acenda Announces Steven Kindle as New Board Chair
GLASSBORO, NJ (January 25, 2022) – Acenda is pleased to announce that Steven Kindle will be their newly appointed Board Chair, effective January 26, 2022. Previously, Steven served as Acenda’s Vice Chairman of the Board, he was also an active member of the Cape Counseling Board prior to the organization’s merger with Acenda in 2019.
Steven brings 15 years of expertise in consumer experience, building and creating a high-performance culture focused on teamwork and growth to the Acenda Board of Directors, most recently and since 2014, serving as Vice President of Kindle Auto Plaza, an automotive leader, and dealership in Cape May, New Jersey.
Prior to working at Kindle Auto Plaza, Steven received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Delaware in 2007. Following his undergraduate degree, he earned his Master of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University in 2009.

In his philanthropic endeavers, in 2014 he announced Kindle Auto Plaza’s Community Challenge where they set aside nearly $100,000 to donate to a customer-chosen organization. Wounded Warriors, American Cancer Society, and Cape Counseling Services were among the recipients. In 2015, Steven won the American Red Cross Hero Award for his services to the community.
Steven is also involved in several other interests related to improving the consumer experience. In 2015 he opened Kindle Insurance Agency LLC as an add-on to the dealership experience. In 2013 Steven founded Simple Maintenance LLC, a data management company based on SQL to upgrade a dealerships’ ability to track customer service history and provide a web portal for consumers. Most recently, he founded Cape May Car Wash & Detail Center in January of 2020.
