Pettirosso Community Home provides an intensive therapeutic community home setting in which females will receive 24 hour supervision and intensive treatment services in a trauma-informed treatment milieu, with a goal of transitioning to a lower level of service or family reunification. Services are available to females living in any county in New Jersey, and last 8 to 10 months on average. Referrals are received through PerformCare, and females are placed in the home following an assessment through the Division of Children’s System of Care that indicates they need this level of care. A meet and greet is held with the youth and family prior to acceptance into the program.
