Youth Partial Care
Youth Partial Care (YPC) provides evidence-based, age-appropriate care for youth, ages 8 through 17, who are experiencing significant mental, emotional, or behavioral challenges. The program addresses trauma, mental health, and family dynamics through a mix of group, individual, and family counseling services.

Eligibility
To be eligible for Youth Partial Care services, you must be between the ages of 8 and 17 and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have a history of inpatient, residential, or out-of-home placement
- Have had a recent psychiatric screening
- Open DCP&P case or at risk of out-of-home placement
- Significant mental, emotional, or functional impairment
What to Expect

Reaching Out
To receive YPC services, you can call Acenda at (844) 422-3632 ext. 1113.

Arranging Services
A YPC staff member will contact the youth’s caregiver within five business days of their initial inquiry. Services begin approximately one week later with an intake session that brings together the youth, caregiver, and YPC staff member for an orientation and introduction to the program.

Moving Forward with Care
Youth will attend YPC in-person services two days a week, five hours per day for six to nine months. Transportation is provided to the program, however, caregivers are responsible for transportation home from YPC.
FAQ’s
What are the days and times services are available?
Youth ages 8 through 12 attend on Mondays and Wednesdays, and youth ages 13 through 17 attend on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In Cape May County, program hours are between 2pm and 7pm. In Gloucester County, program hours are between 2:30pm and 7:30pm.
How long does it take to start services?
Start times vary based on availability. Youth can typically start services approximately one week after their initial appointment if a spot is available.
How many other kids will be in the program?
There will be a maximum of 15 youth in each group.
Does the youth have to come every day?
Yes, youth are expected to attend the program for the full day on all assigned days.
How much does Youth Partial Care cost?
Youth Partial Care services are free.
Can my child get medication at YPC?
Yes, all youth in the program complete a psychiatric evaluation with our APN within 14 days of enrollment and have access to ongoing medication management if they choose.
Who is eligible for Youth Partial Care?
