You Really Autumn Know: Fall Family Fun Activities
Sweater weather is upon us! Time for the cool air, apple picking, and hayrides. Fall is full of fun activities that all families can enjoy. In fact, here are a few fun activities to try out and cross off your fall bucket list.
- Baking: After visiting your local farm to pick apples, blueberries, or pumpkins, you can spend some quality family time baking a pie. Try this recipe out!
- Decorate for fall with scarecrows, haystacks, and pumpkins out on the porch because it's the best time of year!
- Have a backyard bonfire. Gather with family and roast marshmallows, or you can tell scary stories.
- Visit a sunflower field. Many farms have drive and walk throughs for flower picking, so check out a local field here!
- Go on a hayride, go through the cornfields, and enjoy some time relaxing with family and friends. For those who are Halloween fans, check out a haunted hayride in October!

October 12-15: Pick up your Pumpkin Painting Kits from our Shore Family Success Center all week long. Don't forget to take a picture of your pumpkin and post in on Facebook for a chance to win fun prizes!
October 20: Shore FSC is hosting a Marching Monster Parade & Boo Reading Hour for children ages 1-5. Join us for a fun costume parade and Halloween party with story time!

October 16: Mosaic Family Success Center is partnering with Black and Brilliant events for a fall business expo. There will be food vendors, small business vendors, and activities for the children - families are welcome!
