Community Health Worker Hub

The Community Health Worker (CHW) Hub brings together community organizations, clinics, and partners to support Community Health Workers in meeting the health and social needs of New Jersey communities. Through our collaboration with the NJ Department of Health, we are strengthening and expanding the CHW workforce statewide.

  • Current Community Health Workers seeking information, guidance, or support

FAQ’s

How can I become a CHW?

You can become a CHW by registering through the CLG-CHWI training platform. There are English and Spanish training cohorts that are available through the partnering community colleges. If interested, please reach out to the CHW Hub at chwnjinfo@acendahealth.org 

As a CHW, how can I receive additional training? 

You can register as a CHW through our membership portal (www.njchw.org) and upon registration, you will be added to the mailing list and receive information about training opportunities that are available through different organizations.

 How can I find a job as a CHW? 

We post job openings on the Education and Careers page of our website, which is updated weekly. We encourage you to browse the page regularly to explore current opportunities and find roles that align with your interests and qualifications.
