When did you first get involved with Acenda?
The congregation of Haddonfield United Methodist Church (HUMC) has been involved in variety of ways with Acenda for the past 25 years.
What attracted you to the Acenda mission?
Several of our members, including our former director, have worked at Acenda and we value the work that Acenda does in the community.
Why do you support Acenda?
We continue to highly appreciate the quality of work Acenda does with youth and families. We realize that the organization needs contributions from the private sector to meet some of the pressing needs of clients.
What motivates you to stay involved? In your opinion, what is the more important work that Acenda does?
We are happy to support Acenda because of the work being done to enhance the quality of life for families in the community.
Do you have an anecdote about Acenda that really moved you?
We appreciate Acenda's efforts to empower parents by having them select gifts for each of their children through the annual Spirit of the Holiday toy workshops.
What do you hope Acenda will achieve in the near future? In the long term?
We trust that Acenda's staff will continue to find creative ways to meet the changing needs of children and families in the years ahead.
What would you tell to others interested in getting involved with Acenda?
We would encourage others to get involved because their involvement would contribute to enriching the lives of so many children, youth and families.
