Acenda Provides over 2,000 Backpacks & School Supplies to Students to Kick Off the School Year
Acenda's Annual Backpack Drive is a Great Success
GLASSBORO, NJ (August 31, 2021) -- Acenda Integrated Health has recently wrapped up their annual Backpack Drive, and this year was a huge success. There was a greater need for school supplies this year as students head back to in-classroom learning and hybrid models, but the community and Acenda came together to help send students off with style and a smile.
Countless others who have donated, supported, and shared this year's Backpack Drive have made 2021 yet another year of helping those in need. Thank you to our community partners including Tools for School, Church of the Holy Family, Haddonfield United Methodist Church, Heritage's Dairy, and Republic Bank for your support of this year's event!
"With children and adolescent mental health at top of mind, we knew going into this year that the Backpack Drive would be incredibly important," says Mari Considine, Chief Development & Marketing Officer. "The way the community came together to ensure these students have what they need to succeed is so inspirational and truly gives me hope for future endeavors."
