At Acenda, we are proud to offer a variety of programs that assist new families in raising happy, healthy babies and setting up the next generation for a future of success and achievement. One of the programs we offer is Nurse-Family Partnership, a nationwide program designed for first-time moms and their children. Trained registered nurses provide home visits to new moms during their pregnancy and help prepare them for the birth of their new baby. Once the baby has arrived, our nurses continue to provide services for the family including linkages to community resources, health guidance, and access to care providers in the area.
We first began offering Nurse-Family Partnership to South Jersey moms in 2008. Today, Acenda provides NFP services in five South Jersey counties: Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem.
