The Family Counseling Program provides short-term family counseling for at-risk youth referred by Children’s Mobile Response, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P), and other agencies. The program is designed to address the needs of children and their families related to one or more of the following areas: family conflict, truancy, threats of running away, safety concerns and issues related to past or future legal involvement. The program works to stabilize the child and family and support positive behavioral change in the context of outpatient family therapy.
