As the Vice President of Acenda’s Child and Family Services Division, Lisa has over 30 years of experience in the field of child welfare, focusing on improving the lives of children and families in our communities. Lisa helps guide and develop the clinical and administrative aspects of our in-home counseling, family preservation services, adoption, foster, kinship programs and our continuum of visitation services.
Lisa’s areas of expertise include program development and management, clinical supervision, implementation of evidence based practices in child welfare programs, adherence to best practice accreditation standards and data-driven decision making. Lisa also recognizes the value of collaboration and is invested in partnering with the Department of Children and Families on the state and local level to produce positive outcomes for our children and families. As a proponent of healing-centered care and strength-based treatment, Lisa remains passionate and dedicated to supporting and developing her staff and programs so the children, parents and families can be empowered and improve their functioning and well-being. Lisa received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
