Do I have to go away to a 28-day rehab?

Most substance use disorder treatment is provided on the outpatient level. Acenda offers outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment on site as well as virtually at the Cape May Court House location. Acenda offers Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for those who have opioid and/or alcohol use disorders. These treatment options allow clients to access services while remaining in their communities. Acenda also offers a linkage service for clients who are interested in inpatient withdrawal management or residential treatment, so that option is available as well.

How long does treatment last?

Acenda treatment services are individualized based on each client's specific needs. Our clients receive a comprehensive assessment to determine what supports and treatment modalities would be most beneficial to their personal recovery. Length of treatment stay is based on the ASAM criteria, the gold standard tool for level of care determination.

Are drug screens required?

Yes, Acenda provides urine drug screening.  Clients receive screening once per week but this can be conducted more frequently based on clinical need.
